For what purposes and on what basis are your data processed?
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- To take actions prior to entering into a contract, to conclude it, and to properly execute it.
If you are a party to the contract, the action is necessary for the performance of that contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you are acting on behalf of a party to the contract, we process data in connection with our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- For accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting purposes (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR),
- To pursue the legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which include:
- Conducting other correspondence related to messages sent by clients, representatives of contractors, and other individuals or entities,
- Responding to inquiries submitted through contact forms,
- Establishing, investigating, or defending against any potential claims.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- rectify your personal data,
- erase your personal data,
- restrict the processing of your personal data,
- object to the processing of your personal data, lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e., the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
Obligation to provide data
Providing personal data may be necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract, fulfilling legal obligations, and carrying out tasks within the legitimate interests of FläktGroup Poland sp. z o.o.
Transferring data abroad
Your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, especially to the United States. This applies to our IT solution providers. We transfer personal data to entities based in the USA that participate in the Data Privacy Framework program. More information can be found on the website: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/.
In other cases, we enter into standard contractual clauses with our suppliers. More information, including copies of the standard contractual clauses we use, can be obtained by contacting our Data Protection Officer: dpo.poland@flaktgroup.com.
How long are your data processed?
Your data will be processed for:
• the duration of the contract and for the warranty period,
• periods required by law or until the expiration of the limitation periods for claims arising from the contract - depending on which period is longer,
• the end of correspondence exchange or the duration of active business relationships or until an objection to data processing, deemed justified by the Administrator, is raised,
data will be processed for the duration of the limitation period for any potential claims.
Profiling and automated decision-making
Processing does not involve profiling or fully automated decision-making.
