FläktGroup becomes a participant of the United Nations Global Compact

As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices we have become a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). We want to solidify our position as a company that is committed to respecting human and labour rights, safeguarding the environment, and working against corruption in all forms.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, encouraging businesses worldwide to adopt principles that advance environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. Our ESG Manager, Jekaterina Lindberg, had this to say:

"Joining the UN Global Compact marks a significant milestone in accelerating our sustainability efforts. It allows us to embed the Sustainable Development Goals into our strategy and integrate them across all operations. With a highly ambitious action plan, we are committed to positioning FläktGroup as a leader in sustainability - both in our own performance and in the solutions we deliver to our clients."

This commitment further aligns with FläktGroup’s purpose: We care for your air while protecting the environment.

But what does it mean to be a participant of the UN Global Compact?

By becoming a participant, we actively look to integrate UNGC principles intro our daily business practices. We commit to transparency and openness in our annual Communication on Progress (COP) report, showcasing our efforts and outcomes in meeting key principles and achieving sustainability goals. Being a part of UNGC reinforces our commitment to advancing global priorities like climate change, ethical labor practices, reducing inequality and fostering innovation.

So in being a participant we are publicly declaring our corporate responsibility and initiating our commitment to sustainable and ethical business practices.
