Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to supports in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role involves assisting in the preparation of Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P & L Reports, Cost Estimates and Managing Contracts to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.

 

 

THE ROLE:

·       Assist in preparing and updating project budgets and conduct cost analyses for various project stages.

·       Support in the preparation and management of contracts and procurement documentation and assist in evaluating and negotiating contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

·       Preparing interim valuations and final accounts and monthly P & L Reports.

·       Maintain accurate records of all projects related financial and contractual documents and prepare regular reports on project status, costs, and budget forecasts

 

YOUR PROFILE:

·       Degree in Quantity Surveying.

·       MRICS preferred.

·       Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and numerical and analytical skills.

·       Understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.

·       Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.

·       Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
