IT Operations Technician

 

We are looking for an IT Operations Technician to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure seamless IT operations across FG UK and Ireland. This role involves troubleshooting, network management, and system administration as part of a geographically dispersed team.

 

THE ROLE:

·       Provide second-line user support for office-based, remote, and mobile users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

·       Deploy, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, Azure environments, Microsoft 365 applications, and Active Directory.

·       Configure and support LAN networks, including switches, access points, and mobile devices.

·       Monitor server infrastructure using specialized tools to ensure performance and security.

·       Document IT processes and contribute to IT projects, improving system efficiency and reliability.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant IT qualifications (preferred).

·       Experience in IT operations, with proficiency in Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016-2022, Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, SCCM, and MDM tools.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in international teams.

·       Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and a proactive mindset to improve IT service delivery.

·       Experience with network configuration, application deployment, and IT infrastructure monitoring is a plus.
